Off-page Search Engine Optimization

"Off Page SEO" refers to the text and "inbound" linking from OTHER web site pages to your web site pages. Examples of off-page optimization include linking, and placing keywords within link anchor text. Methods of obtaining links can also be considered off-page optimization. These include:
Article Submissions:- One an article related to my services and get them submitted to various article directories and Ezines. (Preparing and submitting articles to sites)

  1. Blog Creation and Posting: - create 10 blogs on free blog services and post content on them with links to my landing pages.
  2. Social Bookmarking: Get urls from my site submitted to various social bookmarking sites like dig etc to bring targeted traffic to my landing pages.
  3. Online Classified Ads and Market Place Listings:- Preparing a classified ad about my product getting it submitted on various free classifieds listing services.
  4. RSS feed Submission: Really Simple Syndication (RSS) is a lightweight XML format designed for sharing headlines and other Web content.
  5. Social Networking- Invitations using LinkedIn, MySpace, Face book etc
  6. Blog Commenting:- Commenting on blogs related to my services a and get people to visit my landing pages.
  7. Forum Postings: - promote my services using various forums related to these services
  8. Press Releases: - you should prepare a press release about my product and services and distribute it to various press release distribution services. (Preparing and submitting press release to submission sites )
  9. Directory submissions:- Submitting my landing pages to appropriate categories on various web directories.
  10. One-way linking: It is a hyperlink that points to a website without any reciprocal link; thus the link goes "one-way" in direction. One-way links are also called Incoming Links or Inbound Links. An effective way to build this type of one-way linking is by distributing articles through content sites and article directories.
  11. Link exchanges: Link Exchange or two-way-linking is a form of link building technique in which members will advertise the sites that they want to get links to, and will in turn offer reciprocal or three way links back to the sites that link to them.
  12. Three-way linking: Three way linking is a special type of reciprocal linking. The attempt of this link building method is to create more "natural" links in the eyes of search engines. The value of links by three-way linking can then be better than normal reciprocal links, which are usually done between two domains.
