Google Analytics (abbreviated GA) is a free service offered by Google that generates detailed statistics about the visitors to a website. Google analytics tool can be used to track all the usual site activities like visits, page views, pages per visit, bounce rates and average time on site etc. It is one of the great tools out there for analyzing traffic on your website. With a little bit of setup, it will give you an enormous amount of information about who is coming to your site, what they're looking for, and how they're getting there.
